Way to go, Tall Girl! I love the blog. Such an ingenious idea. There are way too many of us “tall girls” in the world dealing with the same thing. Kudos!!
well it’s about time tall girls um… stood up for themselfs!! as a modestly tall 6′-0″guy i must say I LOVE TALL GIRLS!! keep up the good work! and viva la statuesque!
Hi! I just found you via the Tall Blog and have added you to Sarah Vain and Tall’s blogroll (excuse the halfass design it has at the moment, I’m working on something better) — thanks for a few laughs this morning!
Wow! Thank you for adding me! I also looked at your blog after visiting The Tall Blog and loved it! I’ll add you right now and I just signed up for the Tall Street Journal. Very cool idea — it’s like our very own Tall Facebook!
Hey Kristin! I’m finally getting around to writing people back who wrote comments and emails. Thanks for the note about my shoes! In case you haven’t been reading, I went with the Chucks and yes I do look hot in them. Well, at the very least, my feet look hot in them. Hope life is treating you well. Just watched the videos posted on your blog. I think I’m gonna steal that one where the tall people are complaining about people asking about their height for a blog post next week. Talk to you later!
Hi Kristin,
I’m starting my own tall blog, dedicated to seeking ways for tall women to keep up to date with current fashion trends by looking at looks in magazines and finding products from tall shops/ranges to recreate them.
Have a look at http://talltrends.blogspot.com/
It’s a little bare at the moment but if you think that my blog is something that you could support then please mention me somewhere on yours and I would be happy to return the favour.
Thanks!
Oh wow, Laura! This is great! I will definitely include this in my blog roll. I always support people who are or support tall people!
Hey Laura, I just read through your blog. Very good stuff! I added you to my blog roll just now. And you work for Long Tall Sally? Awesome! For how long?
Hello,
Very nice blog! I understand the problems of finding clothes, I am 6’2″. I own a website for tall women to sell and buy gently used tall womens clothing. it is called: http://www.noheelsrequired.com. It’s a community/boutique just for tall women. As you know, we can’t walk into a used clothing store and find something that fits! Plus, I don’t like donating my used clothes knowing that someone will probably cut the length off of the pants!
I miss the Tall Girls Shops too! They were the only place I could try on the clothes before buying them!
Kim
Hi Kim,
This is SUCH a great idea. I always go to Target and think, “why don’t they create a Target for tall people with discounted items?” But your site is right along those lines. And every time I give something away, I always hope a tall girl finds it and appreciates the length!
Hey Kristin! I just wanted to let you know that you aren’t the only one who is tall. The company I work for, Barefoot Tess, who specializes in designer shoes sizes 10-15, has the “World’s Tallest Model” coming for a visit this week. Amazon Eve is her name and she is just under 6’9”!
Wow! She actually goes by “Amazon Eve?” When is she coming? Does she want to be interviewed for my blog?
(I’m a journalist, so I would ask her meaningful questions!)
Hi Tall Girl,
Found you! Well not too difficult since you stand out from the crowd. Me too, I am used to it, but not exceptional in Amsterdam. Should you feel like adding a European Tall Fashion site to your links, please do not hesitate!
Hoping to hear from you!
Best
Norbert
I love this. Can I be http://www.facebook.com/your short girl counterpart?? You’re my shero.
